The Psychedelic Resources
This year, millions of people will use psychedelics outside of supervised medical contexts, many of them for the first time. Taking psychedelics can result in overwhelming and uncomfortable experiences, more likely with high doses, amongst first-time users, and without adequate preparation or setting. Psychedelic harm reduction includes a variety of methods to help prevent and transform difficult experiences while in a non-ordinary state of consciousness.
It’s important to make a responsible use of psychedelics in order to reduce the number of psychiatric hospitalizations and arrests. Committing to a responsible use is a fundamental part on the fight against detrimental stereotypes and wrongful beliefs, showing that safe, productive psychedelic experiences are possible without the need for law enforcement-based prohibitionist policies.
We compiled a few resources that we believe are important for anyone experimenting with psychedelics, be that your first time or a long time user - we keep our resources up to date with new researches and studies - and there's always some more to learn! We also encourage you to make your own research.
