Psilocybe cubensis: Amazonian cubensis

EFFECTS

Amazonian cubensis are often sought out for their cerebral and spiritual qualities, as the effects of the Amazonian are described as more reflective and inner-directed than hallucinogenic. Visual and auditory hallucinations and distortions still occur, but the effects are less pronounced compared to other strains. 

ORIGIN

These grow abundantly in regions of Central and South America, where they are used recreationally as well as ceremoniously. The name “PES Amazonian” comes from Pacific Exotica Spora, the company that is known to be the first to develop it from a strain that they found in the Amazon jungle.
